[Travel Vlog #3]A visit to Rasdhoo island

During my trip to Kuramathi Maldives, the travel package included an hour visit to Rasdhoo Island. It is the capital island of Alif Alif and with only 1052 population. It took only 5 mins from kuramathi island to Rasdhoo island by speedboat. It was a very quiet village, and we can see huge different between the commercial island and ordinary people village. Basically only 2 rows of shops and only a few mini market and souvenir shop were open. We found a very nice souvenir shop so we spent forty USD there bought some souvenirs. It was a great experience to see how is the local people's lifestyles in Maldives. It is an islamic country, and visitors should not expose their body, must cover shoulder and wear long dress/pants during visit.

在马尔代夫时有幸参观当地的居民岛。从K岛搭快艇过去也只需要五分钟。整个行程时间只有一小时。去到之后了解为什么只需要这么短时间。那里基本上只有两条街道，还以为会有很多选择可以卖手信。街道很安静，也许那里的生活比较悠闲。居民岛和商业旅游的岛差个天和地。只有几间杂货店和手信店还开着。总算我们找到一间非常有特色的手信店。店主很用心的布置每一个角落，而且连卖的画都是他亲手画的。非常欣赏艺术家所以我们花了四十美金买了一些纪念品。这是一个很好的体验让我们感受一下当地居民的生活。
