First i hate facebook .....
Second the user are diffrent user , steem users are blogers that must of the time have very good posts and bring good value to the readers
Facebook users just try to get a date....
Facebook is aggressively talking about their coins and i think so they are talking with government as well to set up the new and first coin of their to keep going on with this technology. 👍

My gut instinct is to be suspicious of anything facebook. Like paypal or youtube, they could turn on any of us in an instant. Conservatives or libertarians like me are suspicious of big centralised monsters like facebook. It is useful, but I never want my business to depend on it.

Generally, if it will be just a "stable coin" then I don't see any major issue about it... I mean, a threat to STEEM... On the other side, FB getting into the cryptocurrencies world will have a significant impact on crypto in general... For that scary word "mass adoption" it is important to see big companies involved...
And regarding mobile apps for STEEM... Partiko didn't work for me, and a few days ago I have installed esteem without any problems... They have a completely new version of the app, so give them a try... It has issues, but works! :) at least for me :)

partiko has gone MIA recently. and it’s. a bit concerning because it was such a perfect app for so many to experience mobile steem.

Unfortunately, apps come and go... I hope that we will have more like Partiko and eSteem in the future... So, if one doesn't work, we have a backup :)
Do any centralised based rules have some good effect to decentralized platform. I don't really think it will have any effect on steem

If Facebook were to launch an exchange for us and let people trade the fb coin with steem, it should be good for STEEM! If Facebook were to airdrop their coins to steem holders(like PAL), then we would go to the moon!
Facebook might not like us to succeed, so I'm not holding my breath! That would be so awesome for Steemit and Facebook if there was synergy between the two competitors! I still think there is a slight chance!
i think it’s more facebook showcasing the decentralized options like steem. which could help us.
