When people focus only on the price of steem, they miss the big picture. The addition of tokens and the communities provides multiple streams of income for a single post. It also, makes it easier to find target your audience.

Thumbs up... This was really something I needed to read. And some facts is allways good... and NO I am NOT around to 'strike it rich' overnight. That I know a little about, will not happen... As I say it, get rich Quick; Your either in jail allready or on your way...lol.. Rob a bank, or try that and you see...you get rich Quick..but mostly 100% you will be poor and in jail soon. thx for the head up!! Keep on going!
Yessir! Nothing good happens overnight....This takes years and in my opinion worth every moment you invest into it!

I agree 100%. The money is nice, of course, but it's not the only reason to be a part of this awesome blockchain. What is that old saying? "If you build it, they will come." To add to that, being consistent & seeing this through is also important. Anything worth it takes time. :)
Agreed. Nothing is supposed to be easy in this crazy journey...But it is rewarding, when you see what is being built here!

Thanks for a great video @jongolson, I actually think that Steem is going in the direction of a utility token that is just there to run the blockchain, the infrastructure or webhost, and that the value for creativity and all that is moving into the tokens.
Take Sportstalk for example, I would not be surpriced if they had a bigger marketcap than Steem 1 year from now, Sports is big and people like to talk about it.
That's just my view anyways, stay awesome man.
Absolutely, I'm a big big fan of what @patrickulrich is building with #sportstalk I think the potential for that tribe is unmeasurable!
