Well cool this subject you bring. It's something I have not stopped to think about. Indeed, with all these environmental issues, I imagine that future generations will need to think very carefully about how to deal with resources, because I imagine that increasing population, coupled with a lack of awareness to deal with the environment, will leave many resources natural resources.

There are several ways out of the crisis of lack of resources: 1) to reduce consumption, 2) to create new technologies that will allow us to have everything we need from new types of resources, 3) to move to other planets.
It would be best if all three options are implemented simultaneously.
