History Tells Us Our Current Fiat Currency System Will End in Tears.
In this report, I cover the early market action from London on Tuesday, September 10th, 2019. I look briefly at the precious metals, the stock market, the dollar, the bond market and the price of WTI and Brent crude oil.
Today I recommend one of my favourite history books and even though it is not a very long one there is a great deal to learn from it. If I had to recommend one book about the follies of paper money and what is happening to our current monetary system "Fiat Money Inflation in France" by Andrew Dickson White is that book.
I also recommend a very good interview that Crush the Street did with Bob Moriarty of www.321gold.com recently about what Bob sees going forward.
My conclusion today is that even though history does not repeat exactly it rhymes and I also point out that it was after reading "Fiat Money Inflation in Inflation" and reading Ben Bernanke's Helicopter Speech in 2002 that I became convinced that the world was down the road to ruin that paper money leads to.
