The Golden Ratio and the Importance of $1380 Gold.
In this weekend report from London on Saturday, June 8th, 2019 I look at a couple of subjects. The first one is an article by Sven Henrich entitled "Game Over" and the other is about the Golden Ratio and the Fibonacci sequence.
In "Game Over" Mr Henrich describes what is going on in the monetary and financial world and how the Central Bankers have come to the end of the road in terms of trying to revive the world economy in a balanced way that does not involve more bad debt piled on to of bad debt. I felt it was important to share this article with my viewers as it encapsulates my views to a tee.
In the second part of this report, I look at the Fibonacci Sequence of numbers and the Golden Ratio or mean derived from it and how it applies to nature, architecture, art, the human body and even financial markets. I look specifically at the price of gold and how the Golden Ratio fits in with the technical picture for the gold price.
My conclusion is that even though there is a great deal of manipulation in the gold markets and other markets in general the laws of nature will continue to apply to markets just like they apply to other aspects of life on this planet.

Forgot to mention this. Did you read how Deutsche Bank confiscated 20 tons of Venezuelan gold after it defaulted on its loan.
@agrostis, I guess the gold was collateral so legally it wasn't a confiscation. Unfortunately, it looks like the Venezuelan government is being strangled by the U.S./Fed but they should have known better than to borrow money from DB.
