Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, conocida en el mundo de la música como Katy Perry, es una cantante, compositora, productora, actriz, escritora, embajadora y Empresaria estadounidense; además, reconocida por estar dedicada a trabajos humanitarios y al activismo a favor de los derechos de la comunidad LGBTI. Nació el 25 de octubre de 1984 en Santa Bárbara, California y, es hija de Maurice Keith Hudson y Mary Christine Perry.
De niña, Asistió a varias escuelas religiosas y campamentos, incluyendo la Paradise Valley Christian School en Arizona y la Santa Barbará Christian School en California. Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, known in the world of music as Katy Perry, is a singer, songwriter, producer, actress, writer, ambassador and American businesswoman; also, recognized for being dedicated to humanitarian work and activism in favor of the rights of the LGBTI community. She was born on October 25, 1984 in Santa Barbara, California and is the daughter of Maurice Keith Hudson and Mary Christine Perry.
As a child, she attended various religious schools and camps, including the Paradise Valley Christian School in Arizona and the Santa Barbará Christian School in California. At the age of nine he began receiving vocal instruction, and at fifteen he left secondary school to devote himself to music, for which he studied Italian opera at the Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara. In Nashville, he started recording demos, learned to write songs and perfected his guitar skills.
