Yet Another YouTuber Throws In The Towel - The Time To Tell Them About Steem is NOW
This guy has chosen to use BitChute, which is not a bad choice given that it has no centralized hosting - it uses WebTorrent to deliver content in a peer-to-peer fashion - but it it monetized through donations and not crypto. The monetization part is Web 2.0 crap. Proof-of-Brain is the real novelty when it comes to content monetization and it cannot be emphasized enough.
All these guys should be brought over to DTube or 3speak.online. What a golden opportunity! Some of these people have large audiences. I'm overjoyed at the fact that @tommyrobinson is on 3speak.online because he has a large audience and because of the way he's being silenced by all mainstream platforms online and mainstream media. Steem apps must position themselves as the saviors in this dire situation. I don't care that some of the deplatformed people are conspiracy nuts. Most of them deserve to be heard. Steem could benefit tremendously from providing a platform for these people. Centralized platforms like Gab are no solution to anything. And shitty platforms like DLive don't deserve to benefit from this at all.
I'm doing what I can to help Steem by dropping comments to this type of videos and offering my assistance. If you know content creators on mainstream platforms that you would like to help, please approach them and offer to help them get aboard Steem.

I agree with this and dont see why the heck they are not running ads over there non stop. I know Vimeo does, so I am sure YT would run them...
I think there are still some critical pieces of the puzzle missing like Resource Credit Pools up for implementation in the next hard fork. SMTs will be included in it as well (the coding is now done). Communities need to be added as well (not a hard fork as they are not a consensus layer thing). Onboarding processes need to be improved. Some apps have done that already.
