Dapps, are they contributing to censorship or censorship resistance?

The obvious fact about blockchain and its applications (dApps) is that they are decentralized and censorship resistance. But one would be gullible to think that. When each company is being controlled largely by humans (who can be easily influenced and manipulated or even be biased at any point in time).

IMO, the general opinion that we hold is that censorship is far away from the blockchain, it appears that it is just right behind our backyard. Few cases where the user(s) contents have been removed/banned and flagged are as follows;
@proboards1 is an account created to monitor the activities and serve as an archive for the conspiracy theory of the world order and vital information giving by Donald Marshal (a whistleblower for Illuminati) but unfortunate @ spaminator (a dominator & dictator, haha) flagged the account and ensure all those contents were removed from the blockchain.
And also @ thedarkoverlord account pegged by Steemit, Inc base on their terms.

Also, @ dlive was a dApp on the chain before they left and they were centralized oppose to the fact that they ought to be decentralized. Which means they had access to the back-end of the website and can access the contents, so they can decide to do anything with the contents.
What do you think about dApps, are they censorship resistance or censorship based?

Thanks for watching,
Best regards,
Sam.
