Is Blockchain smart enough to transcend the Internet?

Perhaps, it is not safe for work to compare these two space (blockchain vs social media - hereinafter referred to as the Internet) together when considering their functions, features, characteristics, and stats.
But despite the facts presenting itself before us, I am sure that the internet (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) are not user oriented but profit oriented (thus, it would be an advantage for a lot of users to flock to the blockchain, e.g I joined STEEM blockchain after I realize its importance). Although, I used a holistic view in the sense that I tagged all the SC as the Internet (pardon me for that).
Internet Stats vs Blockchain Stats
Over 4 billion daily users, approximately 1 billion unique websites (although, steemit.com inclusive). This is a huge stats, to be honest, but if the blockchain technology can achieve this stats within 10-years of inception. Then, we can smash the internet (social media), meanwhile, we don't deal with users rather wallets - over 31 million unique wallets as at Q4 of 2018. Indeed, this is a great start.
Blockchain will cleanse the Internet
Considering the functions, features, characteristics, and role the **Blockchain technology is playing in building TRUST in transactions, and deals, ensuring SAFE and FAST transactions and using the ENCRYPTED feature to safeguard each unique users, and the IMMUTABILITY of data across the chains will sweep off the Internet (other social media) off their feet as they are not yet ready for a DECENTRALIZED age.
Aside from this, the blockchain(s) has been able to incorporate a lot of innovations like decentralized applications (dApps), tokenizations and so on. IMO, blockchain technology will smash the Internet very soon (it is just a matter of years to come).

Blockchain is the future and social media is the new way to inovate the future, since it was created (10 years ago) bitcoin an the others allcoin have been changing everytime and people have to be prepare for those changes.
