Foundation Chronicles: Trench is Filled!
What a monumental couple weeks! This vid is actually from a week or so ago but we’ve been too tired to edit and post it!
Building takes a lot out of you & we’ve had to starting taking care of our energy and prioritizing rest!
But... the foundation is dug and the trench is filled with gravel. As this is a rubble trench, we also have a sediment barrier & perforated pipe in there to encourage drainage.
Now we are building trusses (as you saw in yesterday’s post) which double as concrete forms.
