RE: Zig and D-Vine have such an inspiring track I had to jam along.

Thank you for this great honor, @wav-Dr !!!

To make this tune and myself a bit less enigmatic, let me fill in a few minor details regarding the tune and my background...

G (relative) minor would be a good mode to work into this, though my first thought was C min since the bass progression descends from G to E flat...

I distinctly recall arpeggiating a Gmin9 modulating into Gmin flatted9th (thus implying also Dmin blues in the upper partials) using a soft 'Fender Rhodes' electric piano patch from a Korg T1 88 key ... That particular technique of arpeggio (rapidly alternating notes between left and right hands, locked over the chord/mode) came to me by way of a Bach prelude, and it probably has a classical formal name, though I haven't come across it and may have even been lost to most musicologists other than those most specialized in the esoteric aspects of the Baroque era...

Yeah, Heavy Metal ... Early Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, and to set a time frame to reference it, when Led Zepplin put out 'Stairway to Heaven' (before 'Classic Rock' was called that! ;-) ) was the beginning of my 'larval stage' in my original musical development in my early teens.

By my late teens my tastes had already evolved into worshiping legends such as Miles Davis, Thelonius Monk, and John Coltrane, along with immersion in the earliest Berlin 'Old School' Electronica, such as Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream, Popul Vuh, Manuel Göttsching, along with the big names in Progressive Rock and the Canterbury Scene , including Gong, Soft Machine, Yes, King Crimson, ELP, etc. ... All these greats have left an immense impression on me ...

Thanks again for this wonderful opportunity to share something something profoundly intimate to my being, and in working with @d-vine, of great pleasure and satisfaction!
