Food forest stroll and show: The River that Runs Through it!
Hello again @dtube and Steem Blockchain!!!! We've had a few days of cold, rainy....weather....but we are BACK....sharing from the food forest here in S. Utah this morning! In this video, we take a look at the lowest zone in our food forest which contains a re-circulating river/pond. This water habitat has allowed for many cool creatures to move into our food forest. Currently we have a few frogs living in there that make gorgeous sounds at sundown! The amount of birds we are seeing coming to drink and bathe has soared since adding this water feature to the forest!! Just wanted to show you the guts of it....before we start adding more hardscaping and plants. We also stroll around the the forest taking a quick look at what else is growing on! Hello Jake. How are you doing? I saw a few days you didn't post ... Are you busy? Your food forest looks very natural. Water is the source of life. So naturally some animals immigrate to your forest because there is water available. Have a nice day , Jake.

The sound of that water flowing must best great for reflection and meditation! Not a bad setting for grind the end of the Steem Monsters season!

Beautiful and thoughtful 'scaping you have there, Jake! Love the food forest, geodesic greenhouse and of course the stream! And youre correct, frogs moving in is a really big deal as they can only survive in stable environs, not to mention that they are primary indicators of environ collapse! Frogs are good and Mulching is great. I enjoy applying mulch too, like an honest days work -so gratifying when you look back on the days efforts knowing it was time/ money well spent.
