Before my fingers touch your hair,
I shall woo you with my words.
With rhyme and amorous reason,
I shall gently lift your chin to mine!
With a soft and sensous sonnet,
I shall slide the shirt from your form
and stroke your shoulders with a touch:
Persuading you with poetic passion!

Before my lips carress your own,
I shall portray the power that could be
with the symbols of irrepressable want;
the very air around us will burn
with the alliteration of lust.
I shall build upon a thoughtful theme
that bends your will and boils your blood;
Collapsing your rigid reserve around you!

Before our naked forms unite,
I'll offer you the soliliquoy of Soul.
With emotions torn from broken heart,
We'll bridge the gap from two to one.
With meter measured by deep desire,
I'll lose myself to eager arms
that yearn to love both flesh and mind
and leave the world of words behind!
