The Evolution Of Clickbait And Fake News
Fake news became spam and was ridden of or was it? Only obvious clickbait is gone, now we have moved into a society of hate news. People are reporting on issues with partisan reporting and our journalists are being activists. Hate related and controversial news is much easier to get views, trend, and monetize content. Buzzfeed and other leftist media outlets have been suffering. Buzzfeed even started selling branded cookware at walmart. It’s becoming more and more outrageous. I don’t know what the next phase will look like, but I’m concerned at the very least.

The problem is that people tend to believe fake news and seek sensational stuff everywhere.

Its all about "Divide and Conquer," I believe more people are abandoning establishment media for alternate media, or at the very least beginning to look for it. They will all go the way of Myspace. I agree with the breakdown.

Absolutely, but in the long term it's better not to make short term sacrifices for financial gain. Depends what you mean by "business." Making money or being successful

I think the idea of pandering to your audience is true. The thing is these companies should actually be neutral unless they specifically state that they are simply commentators. There should be a c-span like program just for news. You get the raw info, not how people interpret it.
