This masterpiece by the artist @vonwong collected 18,000 "rubbish" just in 1.5 days easily,
Impressive or scary?
This is what they called the 'single-use plastic pollution'.
But who'd afraid of plastics?
You! You can't live without plastics
You use it every day with or without your consensus
Wait! Don't disapprove me yet!
You go grocery shopping, you use plastics
You order food takeaway, you use plastics
You throw rubbish, you use plastics
Wait! I haven't finished yet!
You aware of it but do nothing about it
You hate it but you need it!
You're afraid of it but you're surrounded by it!
You! You literally live WITH it!
Wait! I haven't said enough!
You're selfish you're reckless
You're careless you're ignorant
You're a liar you're an actor
You're ironic
You say one thing but act the other way.
You pretended that you know-it-all but you can't do a single change!
What! Wait a second!
What if mankind have never invented "plastics"?
Would WE ALL, I mean ALL living things live in a better world?
I highly doubt so!
The fact is,
even if there's no "plastics" there would be other substitute
which might equally produce the same result -
Harm the environment or worse.
So who really scare of plastics?
It's the mindset that plays the essential key role
through education, through advocacy,
through act, through ART!
If we were not willingly to transform ourselves
What can you really change?
So do you still favor plastics?
Be brave to say that you're scared of plastics
Be fretful about the production of plastics
Be ready to transform!
I have so much to say but a few to listen.
