That was like stepping into a time machine.
Shanghai used to be like that, street vendors with lots of noise and commotion.
Not anymore, its illegal to honk your horn.
We now have to separate our trash into wet and dry garbage, which is definitely a step backwards, summer will be especially fragrant this year.
Yeah, shanghai is becoming more sterilized; typical of big cities in most countries. The traffic from motorbikes can be a nuisance so id agree on that. However, seeing street food go is a big let down.
