I always do what I want on Steem(it).... short or long fiction, poems, childrens books, funny or serious anything. I don't have a billion followers and it's okay because the ones I have know me and know they can come to my blog and find anything.
This is not for everyone but in the end, I make posts for me and hope people like them. I only have myself and my life to write about...... and I believe if following what makes you happy that day.
Everyone should be able to do what they want and not get crap for it......
I know what I like and what I don't so watch , look or read what I like. THAT IS the best thing about Steem..... there is always something here that fits your mood for that day.

Thanks. ❤️ Yeah I feel that is one of the good things we have going on for us in here. But the reason for. Me to bring this conversation is that if we think about what's going on nowadays I can't name one mainstream platform that is huge and that have daily traffic like crazy that is producing long format type blogs...can You?
On the other side we have Instagram, twitter, reddit, Facebook, Snapchat, tiktok that have huge traffic and engagement.
But I obviously have nothing against the longer format and I think it is important as well...
