RE: Morning Dew. First Dtube video. Photography.

'I love the ocean so much.
I just want to walk there. Paint there.
Be [with my love] there. Just for a little while. That's all.'

Very glad I get to read/vote this post as yet (to the nature sounds on your Dtube video) thanks to today's reference to it .

Jonathan Seagull is a recurring theme for those I keep on bumping into here, half way around the world from you: goes to show how deeply connected we can be. Today, I discover more about this story and it's wise counsel, for which my low bow to you.

I shall now continue to cry myself a river to these beautiful words:

He had a way:
Of speaking to her heart.
And he spoke of very simple things:
That it's right for Ally to connect with her 'Muse.'
That freedom is the very nature of her being.
That whatever denies that freedom:
Must be seen and understood:
To be able to step aside.
From its strangling
Hold on her.

These were the words of my 20-year-old self. Three years out of secondary school, working in the Haematology Department of a Pathology Laboratory in Melbourne and going to art school part-time at night.

'I love the ocean so much.
I just want to walk there. Paint there.
Be alone there. Just for a little while. That's all.'

Alone: Only in only one sense, as I would be there with my love of the sea ~ And never actually feel alone or lonely.)

And so that is what I did. I used to virtually live at the beach during the summer holidays. And at the end of that summer, I asked the publican of the Hotel (where the holidaymakers went in the evenings) if I could work there after the holiday season had finished and all the holidaymakers had gone home.

I'd never waitressed or worked behind a bar before ~ But it was an easy learning curve and a fun 'job.' And the best part was that I was able to spend most of my days on the beach ~ Walking ~ Swimming ~ Drawing.

More than anything else, Ally loved to paint.
Spending whole days completely alone.
On the sand. On the rocks.
Drawing the ocean.
And the sky.

The solitude of an artist is seldom a lonely place! The context you provide further deepens all the feathers reach in their 12-foldness, for which I thank you heartfeltly.

So very true Sukhasanasister. I watched a video recently where Laurie Lipton talks about her work and how she became compelled to work in isolation.

Towards the end of the video, she describes how one event in her childhood changed her life forever and how it shaped her creativity. Was incredible to hear her say how grateful she was now for how the effect of that event had been the impetus of her powerful creative drive. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎

You never know what will come out of suffering. ~Laurie Lipton.

Hope you'll find the time to watch this amazing video: Seeing both Laurie's drawings and her commentary.

Wowie Zowie. This takes Alfred Kubin to the next level.

The colour of thought. The connection an introvert can make is astounding. The nobility of this pencil pusher is awe-inspiring.

My dear Ally, what a gift you have given a fellow monk.
I have to share this with @Kimberlylane: can you do this for me, referencing this point of connect?

You are such a beautiful writer Sukhasanasister and so your comment gives me so much pleasure.

I will perhaps talk a little about 'he' tomorrow. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎
