These gaps as you call them are definitely time you win / get on top during the day. It can be quite fulfilling to use those moments (= gifts) for creativity and to push some projects / ideas forward. Wasted time generally doesn't make us human beings feel very pleased..:-)

It’s been a good mix of work and free time so far :)
Yesterday I surfed a beach break - am not a big fan of rocks in general. I actually do surf better at beaches just because of the mental effect :)
