I really miss my kodi install, think I’ll bring it back when I got 4k!

I used to watch a lot of stuff on my separate media player system but just recently I’ve not either been in the mood or could be bothered to consume media. With summer coming to a close it’s that season where the warm stuff comes out, the extra heaters go in and the snug mode goes on — I’m therefore considering the months ahead and making everything as consumer friendly as possible when it comes to media playback and bluetooth headset lovely like!

This is a course that I had for a long while on skillshare as needing a pro account but now seeing as skillshare has had a change about it’s platform I’m also sharing it here too, on IPFS! — if you’ve not considered setting up a media player then you might wanna take a look at KODI, I’m sure you could setup it up to be perfectly set for your needs (I’ve always wanted to do a steem blockchain inspired theme tbh)

It’s really quick, under thirty minutes and it’s really more of an overview and suggestive of how I would go about setting up a kodi install these days (i.e — it’s basic but gives pointers about setting up vpn’s etc) — in recent years KODI got a lot of bad press because of shops and online selling ‘KODI BOXES’ which had free/pirated subscriptions to satellite channels and downloadable films but it’s actually just really a solid media player under all of that, so most of the add ons have kinda been driven underground.

It’s certainly a fantastic little box to watch your favourite twitch streamers for instance on, not as good obviously as the removal of ads version of streamlink twitch gui of course but still pretty good! :)
