ever wanted to know where the steemians hang out outside of their respective blogs? - well apart from the usual social channels if they have them listed you can find a bunch of people over on steemit.chat (powered by rocket.chat) and probably using a discord chat server somewhere. it's not for the faint hearted thou when it comes to discord and requires a bit of setting up to get the settings just right between torrent of notifications and manageable conversation.

the st33m amplify project is an effort to bring vloggers, content creators, youtubers and to bring in general the bloggers of the world into steem and show them they can add steemit to their income streams and have a more open, ad-free experience and share the wealth of their own successes over here on the platform instead of a centralized blog that currently pays them little adsense or nothing at all.
