Save the planet bit by bit

in #dtube5 years ago (edited)

Nothing is too small to help our home to continue to exist. Oceans are dying and we suffocate the planet with plastic. The climate change is a reality and is not just in the hands of authorities to deal with it. If we want to offer a world where our children can breath we need to take action and by we I really mean you and me. You can take responsibility if you treat this planet as a home and take care as for your special place.

Happy vibes indeed. I love the light outside. I'm sure it's warmer than England :)

Not summer yet, but maybe a bit warmer. I have so many memories from the first steemfest I went that is already a special place for me. Good morning

:D Ohhh I love Lisbon! Good for you to be there with a view on the ocean. And yes, every tiny bit helps. Grabbing a plastic bag from the street, buying soaps without plastic beads in them... I'm still learning how to contribute, and when I've learned I try to do that little thing every time :-)

For me is the same. I eat pretty much only food that is not wrapped in plastic, same with fruits and veggies. It is an expensive choice as in UK even the air could be wrapped in plastic :)) Using only products like lush and fighting to reuse every jar and tin I buy. I also don't buy new clothes unless they are really in a bad shape, this is my biggest fight with my vanity 🤓 I am so glad that are more like us, every addition to team earth is a big joy in my heart. Hugs

:D Sounds like great decisions! Yes, Lush is awesome, and I'm still buying clothes but mix more and more secondhand/vintage in the mix as well. Oh, and I've learned how to felt wool so I can fix holes in my wool clothing, and am researching more ways to mend clothes but in a 'cool' way - there's super cool results if you google/pinterest on 'Visible Mending' :-)
