Goats and Chickens and Guineas Oh My!!!
On the farm we have learned that we mainly crisis manage. Never a dull day. And when there is a dull day, we are thankful! Bottle goats got out yesterday and the boys had to round 'em up. Then today we got some replacement chickens and guineas for the first time! Thanks for watching!!!

You are right..those boys need to stick together and help/have each others back! Good life lessons learned on the farm!
They have their moments. One day best friends, the next they are wrestling all day. I'm glad they have each other:)
We have recently been thinking about getting another goat or two. There are some areas growing up that we feel could really benefit some additions to the homestead.

howdy @thefarmerswife! haha! look at those little Keets! we raised ours like that but the coyotes killed them all when they grew up. They're so dang loud that they would call to the coyotes all day, "hey, it's dinner time!" obnoxiously loud but alot of fun while they last until the coyotes locate 'em.
Oh no! I imagine. I'm hoping they'll stay around the barnyard but who knows!
howdy again @thefarmerswife! well, ours did stay around the house but in order to keep them there we had to feed them grain every night so they'd come in every night. they'll be fine with all those dogs you guys have.

It is a tough job for the boys, rounding up those kids. They are just like lambs. They don't need much room to escape! The keets are really cute. I need to get some replacements for here too. The ticks are coming back.
That's why I got them. I wasn't sure how far they'd wander.
