Strange legislation. Perverted form of control for blackmail and defamation undertones.
When I visited London for the first time, one thing shocked me, and none of the tourism field guides prepared me for it. All of the trendy parts of town are loaded with pornography everywhere you look. Strip clubs with open windows and dancing girls, on the back of signs, poles, and wallpapered inside phone booths and bus stops. Locals thought my group was typical, over-sheltered Americans. We probably were compared to the typical Londoner.
Highly suspicious that they want to control internet porn by taxing it for profit, while identifying everyone, even though they could care less about the lawless porn cities.
Edit: By the way, surfing the Internet for porn is far less dangerous than the alternatives: visiting a strip club, hiring an escort, underage sex, etc.. It is as if they want people to get raped, mugged, pregnant, diseased, injured/killed, addicted to drugs, and messed up with drug crimes.
you raise some really great points - I never thought of the tax angel but that is a good one. They never miss an opportunity to tax people. Another revenue stream no doubt - government is way too large nearly everywhere and conflated, to the point where it turns into a greedy animal that needs never-ending feeding. I also never thought about the fact that it is less dangerous for people getting their porn online, if they need it, than having to visit like these more dangerous parts of town. That is an important point, because it shows a decrease in risks vs the alternative. BTW on a different topic, your channel on gardening things is great - I just made my second bottle garden which is on my desk. And I have been looking into serious making a Bonsai tree - but I don't have enough room in my apartment so its more a dream.
Thanks for checking out my articles. I began my hobby when I lived in a one bedroom loft, with a tiny private balcony I could have a few outdoor plants.
An established small indoor tree like Ficus will be easiest to grow, and fairly maintenance free as long as you keep the soil from drying out. Citrus can be fun because they sprout from any seed found in the fruit you eat. Jade is good if you forget to water for weeks because they like to dry out and hate soggy soil. They'll all grow with regular window light, or aim a bright lamp on them if they lose vigor.

That is something i think I might try - i was under the impression that I could not have one. But I guess I could! Thanks for that. I will send you a question if I get one and try to go at it. It will likely happen, but in a while most likely. At the moment, just have my bottle gardens - although trying to figure out just the right amount of light for them - new zealand sunlight is harsh for maidenhair which is what I have inside them - they are pretty big, in large glass jars the kind that you put preserved animals inside lol. But they don't look well, to be honest. Maybe it is the water. I have been reading about them - so they do have a nice dew on the glass in the morning, which dries up. So not sure what is happening. No idea how the bottle garden works. Sounds like a terrarium type of environment. I have heard of systems that get corked, and it has bugs and bacteria that produce all the oxygen, fertilizer, and CO2 the plants need forever. Usually swamp type plants that don't ever want to be be dried out or bothered. That would be a fun way to grow ferns and moss.
Yeah, it works well, apparently if you do it right - the main idea is, that it is a closed ecosystem - so you water it once, and then the plants live in there and you don't have to water them lol - that is you if you are not like me, and get things wrong LOL. But yeah, you probably no more than me.
