Natural light photography is my favorite type of shooting because every light is based after the sun. All I had was my Canon7D, Gold reflector, with a few photography techniques you can get amazing images for your fashion photography shoot. Whether you're a portrait photographer, into fashion, documentary or just looking for a good photography tutorial this is it! Make 2018 your year to win the photography game.
I called Wilhelmina Models and asked for a girl with certain specs. They sent me beautiful Yared, a newer girl who needed natural light photography. When you watch the video, I'll point out 3 important factors.
I used an older 7D Canon Camera, crop sensor and slow. My 5D is in the shop, it broke on the Ricky Martin job and haven't yet picked it up.
Pay attention to my skeleton crew. One person did hair and makeup, model, me, and my assistant Brandon who helped with lighting (reflector) and filming some Behind the scenes video.
No lights, nothing! We used the harsh summer sun and one reflector. We mostly used the gold side of it to get that summer bronze.
