Welcome back to another Webcam Startup Live Podcast. AVN is wrapped up and we're moving into Valentines Season. The Webcam Startup crew discusses Valentines Day, domme work, custom content requests and so much more. Here is what was covered:
Valentines Day:
Valentines Day was a major talking point for today's podcast. Both the camboys and camgirls report getting more GFE (Girlfriend (or Boyfriend) Experience) show requests during Valentines Day.
The Camboys said they really didn't do anything too special for Valentines Day. It definitely seems like something that the girls get into more than the guys.
Camboy Questions and Myths:
The gang talks about the article that Alecs wrote on male camming. Alec goes over the main parts of his article, including: Can you do it and be straight? Do you have to do anal? Do you have to act gay? Greg also chimes in with his two cents.
AVN:
Aerie goes through and reads the AVN Fan Choice Award Winners. Nate comes on periodically talking about his AVN experiences.
Fanclubs / Patreon Alternatives:
The topic starts off going through our piece on Patreon alternatives, but really goes into a conversation on fanclubs and subscription-based services like premium Snapchat. The team talks about the work it takes to build up a subscriber-base and how it's not worth it if you have to be posting daily when there's only a small handful of subscribers.
Internet Domme:
Aerie just drafted a piece on being an internet domme and Aerie and Katy have a great conversation on domme in general. One major subject that was discussed was whether or not a domme has to be 100% domme, or if it's possible to also have vanilla / explicit content on another channel or stores, or even the same channels or stores.
