What's up Dtube, my name is Harshil Patel and today I want to share my 2 Cents on something...

The largest hump I have when I tell people I create content on Dtube is they immediately think I'm on a 'Porn Website.'

Just yesterday, one of my closest relatives laughed me off and wouldn't let me finish my sentence cause I said the word 'Dtube.'

So this got me thinking....

Why do we place the letter 'D' on every (majority) application that's built on the Steem blockchain?

Honestly, want your thoughts on this, this video was made so we can start a conversation about this below in the comment section.

      Yeah, one of my friends said the same thing about the porn site. I think you bring up a good point that the mass consumer or user of it won't care about the decentralized part of it. But if it gets widely adopted, porn won't be the first thing they think of. It would be nice to have a cleverer name for DTube, though, imo.

      Yeah it’s just a random funny thought I had about the name. And yeah honestly it’s just my opinion but I honestly think people care about getting great value and not so much the technology behind it. But I can be completely wrong
