I’m really working hard to attract the pro wrestling community to come check this out. It will be mutually beneficial. Pro wrestlers are always original content. Blockchain and crypto could really help their industry as far as monetizarían of content, smart contract payouts ensuring the wrestler is paid for their work, possible fundraising, universal basic income, and insurance are all things blockchain can make possible for Indy wrestlers. And imagine if a billion dollar company like WWE decided to get on Steemit and started buying up Steem to secure their influence.

Maan that's a pretty cool idea but long way to go. Sadly, I'm not a big wrestling fan as it's almost non-existent here in Europe. I kinda don't get it why u US guys like it os much :D
Yeah, wrestling isn't for everyone. It's definitely something that swings from niche to mainstream. However, Europe has quite a stronghold in wrestling. At least parts of it. WWE and UFC are huge in promoting in Europe. There are tons of indy promotions in both pro wrestling and mma. The crossover is huge right now in the US because of Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey. But there are many mma fighters who cross over into pro wrestling. Zeda Zhang is one of those girls. She was a figher and jits girl first. Now she does wrestling. In NXT their last woman's champ was an mma fighter first. Many of the woman have mma backgrounds. Tom Lawlor who was a very popular fighter who ended up in the UFC, is the Major League Wrestling's current champ. It's just blurring the lines between real and fixed fighting. We all know that even Pride had fixed fights on it's card with legit fights. It's always been there, and now pro wrestling has had some resurgence, really due to the popularity of UFC and MMA in my opinion. However, wrestling has always had the swing up into big money and mainstream interest. You have to remember also, that pro wrestling's roots come from actual catch wrestling events that eventually became a work to sell more tickets. We may see a lot of MMA become works if you think about it. Just look at how the UFC has morphed into very WWEish storylines with people like Conor McGregor... we could be on the tip of the lines blurring more than we know.
