Hometown Goodies

My good friend/colleague was a real sweetheart today, she brought back some of her hometown’s famous Nyonya Dumplings for all of us to enjoy. Our colleagues have always loved and complimented them whenever she would bring it back, as it tastes like nothing you could ever get here in KL.

She brought the Dumplings into the office space as a surprise, letting us have it when it was break time. The dumplings themselves are good as the meat stuffed in it have some sort of a sweetness to it. The skin wrap isn’t too oily, in fact, everything is just to the right amount. It’s pretty common for the dumpling skin to break but this one holds it’s stuffings perfectly.

We had a nice chat over the break time, and it’s moments like these where I feel that the company is really bonding with each other. I surely hope that I would get another chance of having this, it tastes awesome!

Nice! From whence your colleague gotten that Dumpling from? The best Dumpling I've ever eaten was during my visit to a rural town in Central Northern Sarawak a few years ago. It could be the special rural recipe, it could be rural generosity, but my goodness it must be a good 400g of mouth orgasm.

The dumpling's from Melaka, I think they have the most famous nyonya dumplings. Sarawak's one I haven't try before.

@jinyoong From the looks of it i can tell you honestly that the Melaccan dumpling looks way tastier. hahahaha. Don't know if Sarawak is famous for it's dumplings.
