Round One Has Officially Closed!

Firstly, thank you to all the participants who entered this contest! In this round, DuoDraw received a total of 10 wonderful entries from the talented artists here on SteemIt! Congratulations to those who were able to make it and submit their entries! Everyone did a fantastic job exploring the themes for this month and I am amazed by all of your creativity and thought put into your works.

Eros Category

Love and War by @gordon92

A fantastic job of juxtaposing the passion of romance with the fiery passion of battle. The piece also has excellent timing with the Chinese New Year celebration. What a way to amalgamate the two festivities together.

Bewitched by @nanawawa

A creative take on the concept of falling for a love spell. One of the entries where not only is there a lovely drawing but is also paired with an interesting story. I can feel the inspiration of the piece based of the Eros and Psyche mythology.

A cool art form of mixing typography and doodling. A very lively piece and cool use of many different elements that tie in to the theme.

The Beginning of Eros by @elliebong

A dreamy take on the theme where love begins to blossom. I am still so glad that the sketch was still maintained in the piece. Very fitting of the story behind it.

The Couple in Bed by @zhafiqkun

A very intimate and private piece that conveys the small moments of intimacy between partners. The choice of colour is pleasing and fits the airy feeling one would have in this moment.

Agape Category

A Guppy Love by @nanawawa

Very book cover-ish and really expressive use of stroke here. The story behind this piece feels very inspired by The Little Mermaid but with a twist.

Love Agape to Love Eros by @crittercrats

A very cute and adorable style. The scene itself is very adorable of the two characters working together under the sun.

Love by @itachi24j

A touching and very familiar scene most people can relate to at one point life. There is very clear use of multiple textures that really add a unique character and style to the drawing that makes it feel like it be handstitched in a family tapestry.

Agape by @wanaf

A very impactful drawing. An unconventional take on the theme and the use of this extreme perspective adds a real kick for the viewer.

Faithfulness by @serarious

The story of the result of giving love is clearly shown. It's a touching scene albeit the cheerful colours used.
