How To Convert SBD To SP
The goal for our Guild Members is to continually increase their Steem Power (SP) as much as possible. 500 SP and beyond is an ideal.
For those that are in need of income, withdrawing sooner rather than later, then this tutorial will not be applicable to you. If you're someone who does not need to immediately withdraws and wants to increase their voting power, this is for you.
Every time you receive rewards for your content, 50% is split into Steem and 50% into Steem Dollars (SBD). It is encouraged for those wanting more SP to sell their SBD in exchange for Steem because the value of SBD is always higher than Steem. Changing your rewards to 100% Steem in the traditional method will lose you money.
Lastly, you are encouraged to use the marketplace vs Blocktrades for this process only as you save 10% and the process is faster.

STEP 1
Check the price of Steem and Steem Dollars here to get a bearing of their live value.

STEP 2
Go to steemit.com/market In the buy menu, the lowest available price to buy Steem will be set by default. As offers come through you will see them flash on your screen in the index below.
STEP 3
Always click on the "Lowest ask" to be sure it has refreshed to the latest update.
STEP 4
Enter how much Steem you would like to buy. It will display how much that costs in SBD.
STEP 5
Click buy Steem.
STEP 6
Check that the details are correct before confirming the order. If you leave this for too long you will need to repeat the order process.
STEP 7
Enter your Private Active Key.
STEP 8
You will see the push alert confirm the purchase.
STEP 9
Go back to your wallet. You will see that the transaction completed.
STEP 10
Go to your Steem and choose Power Up.
STEP 11
Enter the amount of Steem you want converted to Steem Power (SP).
STEP 12
Click Power up.
STEP 13
Enter your Private Active Key and sign in.
