Tourist visitor numbers to Thailand still haven't recovered their pre-pandemic levels

Here is the graph:

Before the pandemic, Thailand got a lot of tourists from China, Australia and Europe.

China is still locked down due to covid.

Tourists from Australia and Europe haven't really returned. Part of it's down to inflation - when your mortgage is rising, you haven't got spare money for travel.

Part of it is that people started rethinking travel during the pandemic. They prefer short local trips to long-haul trips.
