This is a super topic @eco-alex. Can't believe there aren't more comments here.

I see judgment as one of those things that helps us to feel better about ourselves being "right", by attempting to make others "wrong". Once one realizes there is no right or wrong, good or bad, then many extremely valuable shifts in perspective become available. Having an open mind to see through the illusions can bring a lot of balance. It is amazing how attached humans are to ideas and opinions, and most of the time we are not speaking from personal experience, but through things we have been told or read about--meaning most of the time we don't really know at all. Thank goodness there are different points of view, all of which are valid in some way. Some are skewed, some delusional, some complacent, but as you point out, contrast is essential to experience.
