Beautifully said. I was listening to a foul on Radio National the other day and she was saying very similiar things about birthing. I also didnt know that home birthing here is subsidised like hospital births within a certain radius of hospital , just in case things go wrong and they can get to help quickly if needed. Isn't that a sign that alternative birth practices are supported here at last? I'm hoping so. But more woman need to be told the RIGHT messages about their body and the beautiful ways they CAN bring a child lovingly and peacefully into the world so that they have this control over how this happens.
