NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF DRUG ABUSE
Drug abuse is the taking of excess of drugs not prescribed by a competent doctor or the intake of self prescribed medication. this type of medication comes with negative effects. also the intake of hard drugs such as cocaine, Tramadol, heroine, codeine etc in excess can be regarded as drug abuse.
Effect on your body: Drug abuse can be very harmful to the body. it can cause various kind of cancer, hepatitis B & C. It can also lead to brain damage and kidney failure.
Effect on your income: Most of these hard drugs are very expensive. the more you abuse the drugs the more you spend more money to get the drugs.
Affect your thinking: When you abuse drugs most times to get high, you start thinking differently. You start seeing things from a different perspective. Most times you start misbehaving to the extent of vomiting. It can also result to mental challenges.
Affecting your mental health: Drug abuse can seriously affect your mental health. Depression, frustration, insomnia can all result from drug abuse.
