Learn Guitar: Heuristic 2 No b/# Between Intervals 7 & 1 and 3 & 4

in #education6 years ago

This lesson will provide a heuristic, a learning tool for memorizing the chromatic scale. The interval perspective will divide a scale into 12 distinct tones before repeating to the octive. It will count using numbers 1-7 with a b/# (flat/sharp respectively) between all intervals except 7 &1 and 3 & 4.

The intervals in the chromatic scale are thus:

1, b2, 2, b3, 3, 4, b5, 5, b6, 6, b7, 7, 1

As discussed in the previous lessons, the interval perspective enables us a structure that will shift 12 different times through each of the twelve keys, but the pattern will stay the same with each different key assuming the mode of 1.

A major part of learning is repetition so future lessons, especially in section 2 will go further into depth to ensure that you understand what this means and why the interval perspective potentially saves you about 1/12 the computation capacity.

Once we get through all this theory, what do you want to learn about? Do you want to know chords or scales for your favorite songs, or interval patterns for your favorite genres??

Please make a tutorial about Piano... I love piano.... ♥♥♥

Hopefully at somepoint will cover piano. We discuss piano a little in that the C Ionian scale is just the white keys. This and the following sections heavily follow music theory that is applicable to piano and many other western isntruments.
