Small School Visit

Today I had the opportunity to see a small school in a rural setting to help them out with some robotics and STEM planning.

It was an eye-opening experience to see a school with 39 students and two teachers. They have three school buildings and are surrounded by paddocks of cows and horses. The occasional brown snake visits the toilets and the Principal paints the faded seats to get anything done.

The small school community feel was amazing, pity it was in the middle of no-where and surrounded by nothing.

It did feel good to be able to provide some resources to a school that couldn't otherwise afford. We worked with three teachers and watched their smiles widen as they realised the potential of the robotics kits with their kids and what they would be able to achieve with them.

We are not isolated schools, we are one system!
