Blackmail
A teenaged female student of Dipeshwar Bal Gyan Niketan, a private school in the Indian state of Bihar, was raped, filmed and blackmailed by male schoolmates. The rapists have successfully prevented her from talking, by threatening to make the video public.
According to the story, she was first raped in the school lavatory back in December 2017, by three schoolmates. About 17 days later, the video footage reached the school principal and the teachers, who, instead of helping, joined the accused in raping and blackmailing her.
15 schoolmates, 2 teachers and the principal altogether 18 of them raped the poor girl for months.
The entire matter came to light when the girl complained to the police on Friday, July 6, 2018.
The school principal Uday Kumar Singh, teacher Balajee and two male students have been arrested – additional arrests are likely to be made.
