The moon of Shawwal was seen, the Eid on Saturday

Shawwal's moon is seen today in the sky of Bangladesh. Eidul Fitr, one of the main festivals of Muslims, will be celebrated across the country on Saturday.

Religious Affairs Minister Matiur Rahman after the moon-meeting committee meeting at the Islamic Foundation on Friday evening confirmed the meeting. The meeting chaired by Religious Affairs Principal Motiur Rahman.

Eid is celebrated on Friday in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt, Yemen and Libya due to the moon sighting in the Middle East on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the Muslim community in Bangladesh celebrated Eid festival after practicing fast. President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina greeted the people to Eid-ul-Fitr.
