僕は娘のお行儀が恐ろしく見ていられないので、喫茶店に退避する。

いつもは、よく褒めあったり、出会った頃の話をしておられる。

終始にこやかに、たまに色っぽいお話なども聞こえてくる。

その会話を聞きながらいつも何か描いてコーヒーを飲んで、娘の迎えに先生のお宅へ伺う。

スケッチブックのページをめくっていると、謎の落書きを見つけた。

おそらく娘であろうが、いつ描いたのか知らない。

駐車場でも書こうとしたのか、覚えたても漢字をアピールしようとしたのか、「空」と書いて、看板のように、周りを四角で囲っている。

もう一つのは何かわからない。

おっぱいなのか、目なのか、描きかけで投げ出したのか一向わからない。

こういう中途で終わっているものは、描いた直後の気持ちとしては、あまり良くないものであるが、後から見ると、「なんだ、面白いな」と思うものがよくある。

こういうのは、狙ってできることでないので、現象として起こるのを待つしかない。

また、こういうものはよく忘れるのであって、それがより発見した時の興奮や、面白さにつながっている。

あまり、自分のスケッチブックに触らせないようにしているが、こういうことがあるなら余り制限することもないかと思う。

が、あまり何も言わないと、あっという間に彼女の絵で埋められてしまうので、それはそれで狙ってできることではないのだろう。
