As easy to understand, the first method of solving - or at least alleviating - the tendency to snoring in sleep is to remove those physical impediments that prevent the air from passing regularly through the nasal cavities. The most widespread and effective strategy is to use the so-called cerottini that, by stretching the lateral areas of the nose, widen the inner membranes. They have no side effects, being external devices, and for those who are attentive to the needs of the environment in specialized shops there are biodegradable and green. A similar result can be achieved by taking a hot shower before sleep: vasodilation of heat and steam will have beneficial effects on the performance of the nasal cavities.
Another good idea is to change the sleeping position. It is obviously a subjective exercise, because everyone has specific positions that encourage snoring, but in general lying down on the side can be helpful. Since there is no pressure on the chest and back, breathing is also facilitated.
Olfactory remedies

Another way to facilitate breathing during sleep, and thus reduce noise, is to stimulate the nasal cavities to vasodilation. This is possible thanks to the help of some plants that make the breath immediately easier: for example, eucalyptus, pine extracts and mint. In herbal medicine, there are often ointments to spread on the upper lip, but the same effect can be achieved with a cloth handkerchief lightly soaked in water and essence or by spraying a few drops of aroma directly on the pillowcase.
Health and hygiene remedies.

The problem of snoring cannot be without hygiene in the sleeping environment and respiratory health. Internal irritations, in fact, do nothing more than swell the nasal turbinates and increase mucus production, thus making sleep unpleasant. First of all, it is necessary to stop smoking and reduce all other flaws, such as alcohol, which could put the body under excessive stress. Then proceed to the correct elimination of the mucus, perhaps helping with fluidizing rediscoveries such as thermal waters, to be sprayed directly into the nose thanks to special applicators. Then you should check the air quality of the room where you sleep: it is best to keep the windows open before bedtime, so as to ensure a proper oxygen exchange, and keep the room as dust-free as possible, in order to avoid the irritating effects of mites. Finally, sheets must be changed often and the mattress placed in the sun and air at least once a week.
