Some Sage Anyone?
Every year again, our sage bush is one of the most beautiful.in the garden. Too bad we don't lïke sage.
Sage... I don't like it. My girlfriend doesn't like it.
It's a shame, actually.
I planted a small bush of sage a couple of years ago, mainly because sage has so many medicinal benefits.
But we are so detested by the taste of it that we never use it.
Over the years, it has become one of the most beautiful herb bushes in the garden. Once it starts floweriing, it is a real bee magnet. It's an awesome sight to see all the bees buzzing around the bush.
Last year however, we discovered a sage variety we actually do like: pineapple sage. Its taste doen't even resemble the tasge of plain sage - all you smell and taste is pineapple... So delicious.
And meanwhile, our sage bush keeps growing, untouched, except by the bees.
Isn't this a beautiful world?!

I grow both, but then, I like sage....
I managed to kill both my sage bushes and I like sage. Maybe sage is an empathic life form and knows a predator when it sees one.
