DApp is the synchrase of decentralized application, which consists of an application executed on a P2P (peer-to-peer) computer network, rather than on a single computer. Centralized software or systems are the most common. It is here that the decisions for the objective of the system are taken in a central mechanism and then transmitted to the various components. All executives depend on the central mechanism to take action. Most services available on the Internet are based on this system.

The difference between decentralized and distributed is that a distributed system is a network composed of autonomous computers connected through a distribution middleware. The components interact with each other in order to achieve a common goal. The decentralized calculation instead is the allocation of resources to each individual workstation, on hardware and software. It means that no node is informing any other node about what to do.

Therefore, decentralized applications are applications running on a P2P computer network, rather than on a single computer. They are considered a form of software program designed to work on the Internet without being controlled by a single entity. I più esperti sicuramente lo sanno, mentre i nuovi arrivati potrebbero chiedersi: “tecnicamente cosa sono le dApps?”

DApp è la sincrasi di decentralized application (applicazione decentralizzata), che consiste in una applicazione eseguita su una rete P2P (peer-to-peer) di computer, anziché su un singolo computer. Il software o i sistemi centralizzati sono i più diffusi. È qui che le decisioni per l’obiettivo del sistema vengono prese in un meccanismo centrale e quindi trasmesse ai vari componenti. Tutti i dirigenti dipendono dal meccanismo centrale per intraprendere azioni. La maggior parte dei servizi disponibili su Internet è basata su questo sistema.

La differenza tra decentralizzato e distribuito è che un sistema distribuito è una rete composta da computer autonomi connessi tramite un middleware di distribuzione. I componenti interagiscono tra loro al fine di raggiungere un obiettivo comune. Il calcolo decentrato invece è l’allocazione delle risorse a ogni singola workstation, su hardware e software. Significa che nessun nodo sta informando nessun altro nodo su cosa fare.

Pertanto, le applicazioni decentralizzate sono applicazioni eseguite su una rete P2P di computer, anziché su un unico computer. Sono considerati una forma di programma software progettato per funzionare su Internet senza essere controllato da una singola entità. Le App possono avere il codice di front-end e le interfacce utente scritte in qualsiasi linguaggio, proprio come un’applicazione tradizionale, che può effettuare chiamate al proprio back-end.
