Have you ever heard an urban legends from Venezuela?

in #english5 years ago

In Venezuela as in any country, it has its urban legends which is a pair of the folklore of that country. The urban legend that I am going to tell you is one that is very common in one of the states of Venezuela to be specific in the state Aragua if not bad.

The Hachador

How much the legend that the ax is an extremely tall man dressed as a lumberjack. One day I went deep into the forest specifically on a mountain called San Casimiro. He went out late at night to collect firewood for a campfire since that was usually done by the residents of the area to spend the cold night. With a lamp in hand and an ax in hand, I entered the forest without realizing that on that night there were people who married animals just for sport and necessity. In the silence was heard a shot from a rifle of one of the hunters who had given a servant, curious was to where that shot sounded without noticing that both hunters were past the cup, confused by the dark forest and scared the see a man in the dark, the hunters shot the man leaving him with deep wounds. The last words of this man were "I will protect this forest of hunters who only marry out of ambition and not out of necessity". Both hunters fled the forest leaving it to die slowly on the ground.

The soul of this man is wandering our world to be able to take revenge and make pay to all that hunter who only does this for sport and not for necessity.

There are many versions of this legend. Some say they have gone to the forest without having to go deep into the forest and hear hacking noises in the trees being cut down. Another says that a man once entered the forest to hunt and found the man face to face and to be able to escape he had to hide somewhere in the forest and wait for the dawn and the singing of a rooster since to be free of this presence,

another version is that it kills anyone who wants to enter the forest with bad intentions and that the remains of the bodies puts them in a sack and carries them in their man forever

As I mention in Venezuela we have many legends. A little more frightening and tragic like this. I invite you to learn more about our Venezuelan folklore looking for information. And you will see that Venezuela is a fascinating place.
