My name is Chris and today we will have a conversation about homelessness and poverty. This is your daily English conversation practice lesson with me about people that are homeless and what people can do to fix the homelessness problem. Let's talk about the problem of homelessness in English together. Here is how this lesson is set up. First, I will ask you some questions and give you the time to answer them. Then, in the first few lessons, I will give you my answers to these questions.
To get the most out of these lessons:
1st You will try and answer the questions.
2nd You will write your answers in a comment and I will check them for you to fix any mistakes.
3rd You will practice again with me using your new answers.

Practice will make you comfortable having a conversation with others in English. Now you can teach yourself English and learn alone at home.

Today's Questions:
What do you know about being homeless?
Does your city have a large homeless population?
Has someone you know been homeless?
Does your country have many homeless people?
What do you think can done to help homeless people?
Have you done volunteer work in your community?
Do you think it's acceptable for children to work late at night selling flowers and singing?
Do you think these children need to be out doing this, or are they just earning extra money?
What do you think will happen to these children in the future? Do homeless children have a future?
Do you think there should be more help for beggars, homeless and poor people in your town or city?
