BOX ❤ PET BOTTLE / STEP BY STEP

Hello my dear, welcome to my blog.

My esteemed today I want to share with all of you how to make a heart box, it is a very easy to make detail and quite economical. Of course, I can not fail to mention that it is very nice, it would be the appropriate gift for any occasion.

We will make this box with PET bottles, but first I will give you a definition of what this means.

PET, an acronym for polyethylene terephthalate, is a type of plastic used mainly in beverage containers, especially water bottles, and in textiles. The recycling of PET, has a great importance within plastics, for its massive presence.

Once we learned the meaning of what PET bottles are, I will start making the heart box. Thank God, I have many plastic bottles and that keeps me always trying to create something.

So, I invite you, if you have PET bottles in your house, you can create your own box of hearts or whatever comes to mind.

MATERIALS

• A PET bottle.
• A cutter or exact.
• Sylicon.
• Wool of the color that you have or of your preference.
• A stone or a marble.
• Scissors, ruler and pencil.
• Paperboard.

STEP BY STEP

1.- As a first step we must cut each end of the bottle, that is, remove the beginning and the end leaving only the center.

2.- Once we have the center of the bottle, with scissors we cut the selvedges to align and leave the circle with more precise measurements. These bottles bring a mark from one side to the other, there we will fold them to give the heart shape.

3.- As a third step, having our heart-shaped base we put this figure on a cardboard, doing this 2 times getting what would be the covers and a strip of the same cardboard of 1cm thickness.

4.- Ready the previous step, with the cold silicone paste one of the covers and the other stick the strip of cardboard that would be the main lid. Observe the images.

5.- As you can see we have our heart box ready, now we are going to give that touch of color to decorate it. On this occasion use wool, starting mainly with the lid and then the box.

6.- Then we go to decorate the base, in this case I use 2 colors.

7.- Finally, we stick a stone or marble on our lid to finish our heart box.

_{It is necessary when working the wool to have a lot of patience and delicacy so that the technique can be well and fairly clean.}
