The world champion in Formula One and recent winner of Les Mans 24, Fernando Alonso, will be one of the first athletes known to move his entire digital library to a Blockchain platform.

The pilot has partnered with WENN Digital Inc through the well-known KODAKOne Image Rights Management Platform to provide protection for the pilot's professional and personal images, as well as their videos, through the Kodak platform.

The agreement between Alonso and WENN Digital will provide an opportunity for Alonso's global fan base to access the KODAKOne platform, which will soon be launched, allowing them not only to upload, register and protect their own photos and videos of their F1 driver. favorite, but also be rewarded for doing so in certain cases.

"We live in a world driven by the distribution of content through different channels, especially during events as big as F1 and WEC," said Alonso, who recently won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in Le Mans, France. "I am very excited to know that I have the ability to reward my fans and professional photographers for their creativity and that the content they produce can be protected by a single platform."

Benedikt Dohnanyi, commercial director of WENN Digital, told CCN that it is an innovative partnership in which fans can also share their photos and digital media of the race driver and get a reward for it.

"As you can imagine, Fernando Alonso receives hundreds of thousands of photos and videos taken from him every year. And so far, there was no way I could know where all those photos and videos had ended. But with access to KODAKOne, you will now have peace of mind knowing that all your images and videos are protected in one place."
