The traditional x informal professions (STEEMIT, for example)

in #english6 years ago

Good afternoon, folks.

Today I want to talk about a question related to the professions seen as traditional and the new professions that come up over the years. I reflect on these issues a few years ago.

Usually, those who are born in traditional (conservative) families tend to follow professions that fit this more traditional line. When parents talk to their children about professions, since they are young, they begin to instill in them the vision of money, status, respect, because they want their children to follow their footsteps, not so much by "vocation", but mainly to conserve their family status. In the way of thinking of older family members, the issue relating to conservation of status is only achieved if children follow certain jobs.

The problem related to this is that the world today is no longer the world of a few decades. I have not lived the other industrial revolutions, but the internet has been and is being an incredible way to revolutionize how people can work and make money. Both inside and outside, you can use it to earn income. A new profession can be generated as well as the traditional professions can use them to earn larger gains, disseminating their work, for example, through digital marketing.

The people from previous generations, those who were not born and experienced these issues related to the Internet, have a certain difficulty in understanding these issues and this reflects too much on the way children think, because if these children do not follow what the parents They want, they can have a certain sense of guilt because they are diverging from their creators.

Of course, a doctor, a professional private company with high remuneration, a dentist, an engineer, a lawyer (tender in good positions or a professional release very well recognized), among other professions, will tend to gain well and be well Paid.

But in these issues of traditional professions, I think two bad things can happen. The first is that the person does not get a good placement in this market, because not every lawyer becomes judge, prosecutor, judges, etc. That is, it is not every traditional professional who will be able to have a good income. This does not just happen with lawyers, engineers, dentists, doctors, even, they tend to deal with a much larger competition than a few decades ago and will not have remuneration as high as before, even in competitions, from what I am noticing.

The other issue is that the person can achieve immense income in these professions, but perhaps he is practicing a work that does not match his personality, creating an immense dissonance between what she wants to be and what she is, in relation to professional terms. This makes it a certain time when she starts to be sad about these issues, because, making money is very good, but, doing forever something that does not match her profile is massive.

The internet, especially in the last decade, is about to deconstruct this income issue a little. We see examples of very well-paid people in these areas, who have used technological means to get cash flow and, in some cases, excellent remuneration in my vision. But to achieve that, perhaps many of them had to drop their parents ' vision and perhaps even argue with them with a certain brusqueness to go their own way. They became autonomous, having many difficulties that the "non-autonomous ones" have, however, with the certainty in mind that both failure and professional success and cash flow depend largely on them. I don't say 100%, but the person who has autonomy at work is freer, or less stuck to fall or grow....

Let's use Steemit as an example. Someone who is very connected to the Internet and met the Criptomoedas in the early years of its release, could have entered the network Steemit and have, besides started early here, bought Steem power to have more influence here inside. This may have generated for him, a higher remuneration than a doctor for example, but, that initial question of what traditional professions are most valued, causes a party never to get into that and not achieve that development in digital media. The ideal in this case would be to ally the two in my vision.

In this picture, a super-cute little girl. I wonder if he's writing for steemit???? :D

My question posed here is that growing up in very traditional families can both propel the person to achieve good placement in the job market as it can make her life more "trapped", making it not able to achieve all its potential, if Could reflect a lot and practice a profession that she really likes and dedicate herself 100% to her.

That's just my point of view, I'd like to know your vision of my placement.

Thanks for the reading and good afternoon!!!!!

News from dropahead: How to give back to the dropahead Project in 15 seconds or less

Yes, many times our families take us away from our dreams just because these do not conform to their standards and then they convince us to take other paths that do not give us happiness. Breaking with these old paradigms, like studying to be someone, can lead to freedom, not just emotional, but financial.

If it brings in the money, then it's a job and a good one at that. Informal jobs are a lot like one-man startups though, it's not for everyone.
