Mojito Royal

If there were a king of cocktails, the mojito would undoubtedly be among the candidates to win the prize of

the crown. Originally from Cuba, it has millions of followers around the world thanks to its successful blend of lime, mint and rum. Because of that success, it's not uncommon to find several variations on the original recipe: Virgin Mojito, without alcohol; English Mojito, with gin instead of rum; Dirty Mojito, with brown sugar and toasted rum; or Mojito Royal, made with Santa Teresa and adding champagne or cava to the blend as a touch of distinction.

Ingredients:

1 part St. Theresa's Rum Select

1/2 file

Two tablespoons of cane sugar

Peppermint

1 part champagne/cava

How to prepare: add two tablespoons of cane sugar to the glass along with the lime (half a lime) and a few sprigs of mint. Then, crush until the juice is extracted from the lime and mint. Add crushed ice and carefully pour in Ron Santa Teresa Selecto with a mixing spoon. Add champagne and stir. It can be decorated with a sprig of mint or a slice of lime. And to drink in moderation, please, that the heat is very treacherous and the mojitos come in too well...
